graduate
I actually graduated on Monday. David Blaine was there. Well he was outside in a glass sphere, I was inside Avery Fisher Hall Lincoln center. We both had to endure an excruciating wait in an uncomfortable environment. I, way too warm in a purple gown, waiting for 400 names to be read; Blaine, trying to hold his breathe while being a douche (which by the way is one of my favorite words!). Also John Lithgow was there, apparently his son was graduating with me. He didn’t have to do anything particularly difficult. We were trying to remember a good movie that he was in. All I could think of was 2010, Harry and the Hendersons, The Manhattan Project. Oh yeah the World According to Garp was pretty good. He actually looks just like himself in real life. Pretty tall, too.
